1. Chrono Trigger / Chrono Symphonia
2. Diablo 1 & 2
3. Chrono Cross
4. The Witcher (at least it is for now, there is some awesome music in this) - This is my new reading music.
5. The FF's 1-10. (no specific one I can think of, all of them have really good music to them)

I know there is more that I really enjoy, I just can't think of more at the moment.

Oh, & the Guitar Hero or games like it do not count in this.

Fable 2, Shadow of the Colossus and Beyond Good and Evil. Super Mario Galaxy is getting there, although I doubt I'd be listening to it outside of playing the game. Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, Amon Tobin

I also really like the title screen music for Ghost Recon, even if it's a fairly standard war piece.

to be honest I think the original BK soundtrack has the edge... some really nice trippy soft dungeon music and the battle theme is a little better. The boss tunes in BKO are fuck amazing though

I'm listening to the Myth: The Fallen Lords soundtrack right now. It's superb and very subtle-it captures the roller coaster of despair and hope that the Legion has during the campaign. It's far better than the (already great) Halo soundtracks-it doesn't fall into the trap of martial bombast that series' tracks do.

I'm as anti Japafag as they come, but real talk: Silent Hill I-IV have the best soundtracks in gaming. They are all just ridiculous. This guy (girl?) Akira Yamaoka is amazing. Best musician working in games by far.

I also find most Blizzard soundtracks amazing, especially Diablo, love the Deus Ex soundtrack, love the Xenogears soundtrack (japafagggggg), all Valve music, Myth soundtrack, recently Mass Effect soundtrack is ridiculous and has one of the best game themes I've ever heard.

But Silent Hill is king. Consistently amazing.
