The dynamic duo of Viz and lyte edge will be serving as your local constables of this databyte wasteland. Keep game discussion in there. If there's an old thread that absolutely must be moved, we'll try to accomodate.

Yeah, we’re letting you guys upload stuff, along as it’s within reason, because we’re just that kind of community that rips off other forums is hip with the times. Unfortunately, cloudwalking lost her connection when editing the forum code to incorporate a link on top, but for now, you can access it via the new front page or RIGHT HERE!

Senior Member Privileges

You earned ‘em. After a whole lot of posts, 2,000 to be exact, Members will be granted with the Senior Member tag. That will enable you to modify your own custom tag, upload your own avatars to the server, increased PM storage space, create your own polls and eventually imbed YouTube videos. However, abusing any of these privileges will result an immediate loss of your Senior Member status (along with all your newfound privileges) and the tag of Townie Leper.

MAF Has a Blog!

You can expect the usual MrAngryFace content in an expanded, easy-to-find and archived way. We’ll have other contributors too, but for now - prepare for ranting! But mostly raving.

It's not a matter of post count reflect poster quality, but people who have been here the longest have amassed considerably posts. I'm not asking anyone to hit 5,000 or something. 2,000 posts is fine.

And as stated, if someone abuses their privileges - they're gone. Townie Leper sucks, in terms of board permissions.

The point is, at 2,000 posts, you're considerably invested into the board. People that are shit posters will get their privileges removed. In the end, if you just keep being a good poster and make good posts, you'll get the Senior Member status. And if you make a lot of posts, but are a shitty poster, eventually it'll catch up with you.

Good idea to make a gaming forum. Cool. Might post a couple times a day there to kill time, currently the 20-30 Gears of War threads a day on OA along with the 10-20 daily Sony FUD Deadmeat threads are beginning to get kinda redundant.

However instead of putting this new sub-section on "probation", I don't understand why it simply can't be permanently incorporated no matter what happens. Even if the traffic is very low for a long while, since 90% of the people here have major OT tendencies well it doesn't matter. I don't see how it would be of any bother for those. And a little more order would do this forum good.
