Ok, ok...  I haven't been paying much attention to the news  the last couple of weeks (bored + working too hard), but when I first heard about Bush's speech to the Knesset I assumed he was talking about Carter, not Obama / Clinton / The Dems in general.  Isn't there a bit of a "protest too much" quality to the outraged responses here?  I think the Dems stepped out on a branch to create a controversy for political gain, and like sheep, the Republicans are taking the bait.

The Bush administration is worthless and people are very unhappy about the lame duck Congress led by Pelosi and Reid.  The Democratic led Congress was supposed to reverse the damaging legislation Republicans passed in the past several years.  Instead, they've merely stopped it.  Stopping is better than letting it continue but Americans voted them in to do something about it.  They haven't.  It is why Bush and Congress approval ratings are in the shitter.
