Update on subnotebook shopping:
As of right now, the EEE PC 901 looks to be the best, but they won't be around until June. The MSI Wind lacks a solid state drive, so it's out. The Dell subnotebook, well, there's only a few quotes and some rumors so far, but going by Michael Dell's quotes, the starting price will be 500 dollars. They are, however, working with someone on some sort of (I assume integrated) GPU, which doesn't mean jack to me. According to what I've been reading around the net, there's not much that special about the Intel Atom, though. Many just think it's getting press because Intel knows how to hype a brand name. HP's subnotebook sucks ass and gets shameful battery life.
