So I promised someone I'll attend a convention specifically for furries with them. I suppose I can back out but promised to help him and the gang out. He has no idea about furries and I also feel obligated to lessen the shock, especially since he is taking some youngsters with him (his teenage animation students). He was invited by these people because he's an ex Disney animator and they apparently have a hard on for Disney stuff. I have no idea what to expect from this con, but I have some general idea about furries and I just don't see this turning out well.

Anyone with similar experience? How did that go? Am I freaking out for no reason? Help a brother out.

Seriously, Shog, if your friend goes there, advise him not to bring his teenage students with him. Explain to him that furries are, quite simply, sexual deviants with a penchant for bestiality. Tell him about the furry orgies, about how people have sex in fursuits, how people believe they're actually animals trapped in human bodies, etc., etc. That should freak him out enough to make him back out.

That sonarrat guy who constantly argues on GAF about how furries aren't into bestiality recently admitted to trying to fuck a horse as his first sexual experience, apparently.

I think you guys are right. We definitely can't bring the kids, no matter how "well behaved" this con might be. And I have no idea about this con anyways. Furries are furries. Asking for well behaved furries is like asking for well behaved pedos.

Hopefully the kids don't show up anyways. It's a fucking Saturday and it's summer in Redondo Beach! They'll be chasing teenage girls by the beach hopefully. If some actually show up for the trip, maybe I can make up some shit so they won't go. He might be obligated to show up but the kids definitely are not.

They banned me until the 20th for using the term "SDF". Said I should have known better that the use of the term is "insta-ban". Never heard of that policy and don't have that policy anywhere in the FAQs. BS I say but that's GAF. *shrugs*

smh. I wonder if "NDF" and "MDF" are insta-bans too. Shit is really transparently biased over there, which is one of many reasons I don't venture over to gaming side any longer.

Just an aside, if this really was a full-on furry fest, I would seriously worry about the effect of parental complaints (really, for public or private educational institutions) if your friend brings students to such a thing. All it takes is one parent freaking out over the attendee's obvious deviancy/depravity and then ratting on the schoolboard/local media and the thing could turn into quite the disaster.

OH JEEZ I hope none of the parents went with them... I think he might lose some of the students because of this... I told him over the phone to keep an eye on them so that they don't see anything inappropriate but I don't think he got the full jest of it...
