Rtype Command > Field Commander

Field Commander is easily one of the most disappointing PSP games ever. Rtype Command makes up for all of that. While the cutscene loading is kind of a pain (can can be turned to random frequency or off completely) the slightly modified advance war formula works great here. I'm only 3 missions in here and its been a decent challenge even on mission 2 which is considered a tutorial. I do find it hilarious that the Force objects require a pilot assignment lol.

If you want turn based strat in a sci fi setting, this is the game to get. Also, get Wild Arms XF, it deserves more love. FUCK FFT

got this and SNK at the same time and my joy of playing magician lord is overtaking anything else w/ my psp

Man, the first big map mission boss fight is rough, gotta make a few more ships. Its awesome how you can force ram your way through some tough crap haha. I rammed a force down this bydo's throat, it was great. The cost of making ships is pretty high tho, takes a lot of missions to earn enough for that destroyer, and its got a photontorpedo!
