480p by HDMI, 480i otherwise. HD res is supposed to come soon, the box will support it. But with only 64m of reserve memory, uh. Whatever. I love the idea of this box and the "Watch it now!" feature is great, but I'm not sure this does everything I want it to. I'd wiat until next year.

I will jump on this the moment there is legitimate, solid HD support.

Can't you just use your 360 for this? Patel made a thread about it.

The selection is limited to what you find in "watch it instantly" unless I'm missing something.  It's a nice feature and I watched the first season of Friday Night Lights this weekend with it but that box isn't worth $100.

"DVDs are only available in their cropped 4:3 proportions--which is really irritating if you have a wide-screen TV. Another big annoyance: at least one of the TV selections we chose--Season 2 of Miami Vice--listed four episodes (out of 23) as "only available on disc."

"the box outputs video at 480i resolution."

Just stream Hulu

Can't you just use your 360 for this? Patel made a thread about it.

The 360 video marketplace has HD content, correct? The only problem I have with this is I don't live in North America, so unless Microsoft doesn't check your IP (they must), I'd have to use a proxy to connect.

I've been wanting to buy the 360 for this purpose. Can you point out the thread Patel made?
