only unstraight people like the remake
Hey I like them both equally. I was a firm believer that all remakes suck ass and I wanted to hate this one so bad but I found it to be one of my favorite zombie flicks.
The original has the feeling of being alone and with no help coming. It's very slow and builds up to a climax. It has a deeper meaning of consumerism.
The remake is balls to the walls gore and action. It shows you how it would be like when the shit first went down. When no one knew what was going on.
Depends on the mood I'm in on whether I would enjoy the original or the sequel more.
