tell me if you see any negroes in attendance
I saw a skinny negro with a fat white chick and a negret (female negro) with a sort of chunky bald white dude with a beard.
I was pleasantly surprised, every single band was excellent, even Three who I thought was going to blow donkey balls, they rocked too. I should also mention that the sound was spectacular throughout the night, every band had good sound.
Three - played for 30 min, had an awesome singer who played guitar with his fingers (no pick) and a lead guitarist who wore a uniform like the captains in bleach (seriously, maybe that's why they kept him off to the side). I wouldn't pick up their album but live they're good.
Between the Buried and Me - played 30 min set

I was really disappointed because I was hoping for at least 45 min for these guys but alas, only 30 min. They were tight and Paul Wagner's (lead guitarist) sweep picking was suuuuuppppeerrrr smooth.
Opeth - The niggiez done did rock the house, superb! They were funny and played awesome music, they played for about an hour and are coming back in September I think. If they do I'll def go check them out and before then I need to pick up some of their albums. (My favorite of the night)
Dream Theater - Zero Hero, Petrucci is THE MAN! I watched his fretwork the entire night, he was pulling off sweep arpeggios so fast my dick got hard. So everyone knows that DT is comprised of some of the best musicians on the planet and they rock super super hard. K, the only reason they weren't my favorite of the night is because they'd have these like, 5 min musical breaks where they'd just play a simple rhythm over and over again with no solos. Now they were the last band so you can't be doing this crap, at times I was bored waiting for them to kick start again or start a new song, not alright. Other than that of course they played spectacularly and I would see them again, but I'd make sure that there were chairs in the venue. This is my second time seeing DT and my first time for everyone else.
