But I don't care that I paid more because it's so damn awesome.  Unfortunately my HDTV is away for repairs so I'm holding off playing LO until it's back.  Hopefully only a week or two and I can get back into it.

yeah man lets play sometime. Im trying to get more peeps from 'across the ditch' on my friends list as the time difference isnt too bad. (unlike the states where most posters live). Only 2 of my real life friends are gamers and only one has a 360 lol. You never run into kiwis on forums... theres a couple on GAF I think

Yeah, the time difference does suck.  I only have about five or so Aussies in my friends list I think.  I'm always up for anything, I'll hit you up when I get my HDTV back and I don't have to squint at my little 51cm CRT anymore.

most of the homos at the Games-Ranch are PGR4/Forza 2 lovers who think GRiD is below them. So it will be good to have some aussies to play against.

I suspect the online GRiD community will be good - the DiRT one is pretty easy going and a lot of those guys will probably be on GRiD as well.

It'll be great to play against someone using a wheel.  When racing games turn into bumpercars instead of racing I find it really hard to compete against people using controllers since recovery is so much harder with a wheel (for me it is anyway).
