No, the game doesn't

Red Scarlet on GAF posted a save at the end and it showed that you can beat the game using only 3 characters

Here's what I mean

I also beat the game with only three characters. Fran was lvl10, Ashe and Penelo lvl16.

The other three character that I used were all around lvl80.

It's a waste of time to lvl up characters that you don't need.

I just got Ashe back. I don't know if I want to replace Fran with her though as a party member. Ashe has better magic stats which is good cause I have her and Fran as healers, but Fran is cooler.

I'm really liking this game. I hope it doesn't start sucking.

I think it just boils down to who you think its cooler, stats are pretty irrelevant in this game

A weaker party can deal about just as much damage from a Mist Chain as your stronger party, which is pretty bad, makes it seme like you dont even need to do any work

VP2 is a far better game than FF12 by a lot.

Mists rock tho Bacon, they boost mana by omg omg amounts and some of the third mists are really cool looking.

It doesn't matter which ones I choose on the board right? Are all the attacks the same no matter what for a person, or does it depend on the slot on the board?

I think the third one you uncover will always be their 'third one' if you get my meaning.

So the first one you uncover will always be the spiral attack for vaan, no matter where the first one you uncover on the board is. Since the third level ones are ultimately more devistating I believe that is how it works.

Each character has 3 specific Quickenings, and it doesn't matter where you get them, they'll be in order no matter what

I'm kicking lizard and malboro ass now in the sewers even though they're 10 levels ahead of me. Doing some hunts now too. I kinda wish there wasn't so much running in between hunts.

I think its dumb you have to talk to the person before doing the hunt. One of the hunts actually breaks when it rains in the giza plains

Breaking in and out of battle screens for random battles and shit just kills the pacing in RPGs for me. This is more fun. It'd be cool if you could queue a bunch of attacks like KOTOR though.

I can understand that, but when I can browse the web while pushing the thumbstick in random directions to grind monsters in an area, the level of interaction just isnt there. The only option is a tedious assignment of every action into one or all players when you realize that the fights CAN just be done by moving the analog stick around.

My mistake was playing VP2 first, I judge everything against it.

I would do that in KOTOR. Just queue up all the attacks and sit and watch. It's fun.
