Vista is a no no for solid state drives. The two big problems with solid state drives are:
1) Marginally slower write speed. When Vista is indexing shit for the first time on a new install, you KNOW it is doing it, even with normal hard drives, so I'd expect an even more noticeable hit with SSDs.
2) Although it probably wouldn't matter in the long run, flash memory cannot be rewritten as much as normal hard drives. Since indexing involves reindexing and updating, having that as a background service isn't that great of an idea on an SSD install.
