I just came back from spending an evening at a friend's dorm playing SNK fighters and Hot Shots Golf OOB and at some point he's about to show me a game on his PS2 and the game didn't boot. Then he's like "Oooooh, if it breaks I'm going to trade my PS2 and all my games back-in and get a Wii for less!"

Damn I tried to contain my utter disgust and told him that there was absolutely nothing even remotely positive about the system and that the Wee-Wee controls ruin every game, and he's like well, I want to play SSB Brawl.

He likes Tales of the Abyss and I tell him that the best Tales is coming to 360, and most of the best-looking third-party games are on 360, but he's like noooo.

Uuuuurgh that didn't ruin the evening but damn I wish I had a way to make him sway from that pile of useless fecal matter.

I just HAD to vent about this.

You don't even know if Vesperia will be the best. Wii is getting Knight of Ratatorsk, and if he hasnt beat it already, he can go out and buy Symphonia. That's TWO Tales games, versus one on the 360. Your friend sounds smarter than you. I bet he fucks pussies every day.

I don't give a shit about what morons who I don't know do of their cash, when going to such places I don't say a word apart when I'm paying for something at the counter.

At this point I think I'll just lend him mine and Super Shitfest Brawl and keep showing him great next-gen PS3 and 360 titles through the summer, who knows, maybe it'll make a diff.

At least all's not bleak with him, he's a huge SNK and Atlus fan, he has many games like Baroque, Persona 3, Digital Devil Saga 2 and the like... but unfortunately also a lot of gay japafag RPGs like Atelier Iris 3 and Mana Khemia... YES, that one I keep see being referenced on this board without knowing what the hell it is.

He was very happy to learn that Persona 4 would probably come out soon in english and on PS2.
