the funny thing is that many of my friends begged me to watch the show for years, irl and online. I avoided it because someone had told me the thing doesn't go anywhere and is just a giant cock tease. But I've been really impressed with how well done the show is. It's well produced, the writing is good (enough), etc. I now realize why my old HS english teacher uses the show as an introduction to "themes" lol.

Plus there's such a huge cast and I only hate two people. Shannon and her brother  :-X

characters do seem way too quick to punch/pull guns on each other.  one minor problem I always had with the show.  maybe the island affects people's emotions at times, but that would be kind of gay

I kinda want to start watching Lost, but I'm scared of all the productive hours I'm going to lose.

40 min. episodes, 20+ episodes per season, and how many seasons now?

Quick calculation:

S1: 24
S2: 23
S3: 22
S4: 13
Total: 82 episodes times 42 minutes = 57,4 hours of my life.

LOST > House

I spent all last week and the weekend before watching LOST and I'm almost caught up now. I'm on episode 3 of season 4. Do I feel like I wasted my life away? No, so watch LOST.

Also, shooting people is like slapping them in the face.
