I just noticed you said Amped 3. I don't see enough love for this game - it's excellent.

I'm a gigantic SSX fan so have never been so big on Amped but Amped 3 mixed the two franchises into something I really liked (I feel sorry for Amped fans who didn't like what Amped 3 did the series, but oh well). SSX is great but the downside is that to get maximum points you spin as fast as possible, which doesn't look very good.

Amped's slow stylish spin thing is great, the game is HUGE, there's bucket loads of variety, and the character dress-up thing is great and much more varied than SSX.

I loved the heck out of Amped 3. They really struck a nice balance and it more than made up for the mistep with Amped 2. i'm going to rebuy the title, i just redownloaded the demo last night and forgot how much I loved the game.

And now that im back on the weed, well shitttttttt...

EDIT: I really hope the new ssx is still coming. I cannot WAIT. I was soso into the first SSX on the xbox, but god I would kill for that game right about now.

I'm dying for SSX as well.

On Tour was an abomination. We've had Blur of course, but it's just a remake. The best thing about Blur is that (I hope) it shows they want to move back towards the over-the-top formula of SSX/Tricky/SSX3 and away from the lifeless On Tour.

Fingers crossed for some true awesomeness on the 360/PS3.

The funny thing about Amped 3 is, it looks technically, very sharp. the art style is very good, it thematically, is such a cohesive product.

People who never saw it in action would probably disagree, but the poly count is nice, the shaders are kept to a minimum but the aniamtions are great, TONS of people on each slope. It is just a killer arcade snow board game, I'd say one of my favorites for sure. I had 1080 day one on the N64. This is a genre that has real untapped potential.

The fact that it is pretty much impossible to crash in Amped 3 is much needed. It is so refreshing, Amped is a notoriously simish style game. But this one was a complete 180, very cool achievement.

I've never liked SSX but I love Amped. All three of them. I'm so sad we'll never see another Amped game.

Amped 2 online in 720p = best fun ever. The best part was I loved the indie soundtracks on them, I never used custom soundtracks on any of them.

Yeah, Rancho Relaxo - that's the one.

Is the Holden in the game a Monaro? I think I already have it. I'm not entirely sure why but I think I needed it for a particular event or it was a cheap way to get into a class. I have a designated "shitty cars" garage - it lives there.
