My inspection expired in December and I didn't get it done until the end of April.

I'm about to put a car on the road that probably won't get a real inspection until well beyond its 10 day grace period, I'll cross my fingers. It's only a $60 fine in NY.

The thing that pisses me off is that its only been expired for a couple weeks. And its still in the same month that it expires. There was no reason for her to run the tag. So, basically she was just fishing around for something to do on a boring holiday morning.
