I don't see how Team Ninja is ragged on.
Whatever you can say about them, you can't deny they're consistent. All the DOA's are of the same quality, if you didn't like it before though, you won't like these.
The people who bitch about Team Ninja games are the same people who have always bitched about Team Ninja games.
BTW, Ninja Gaiden Sigma rocks and it wasn't even developed by the main team.
This whole post is correct.

It really bugs me when I hear people say that Sigma is not the definite version. Sure it had a couple of issues that rarely occurred (e.g. loading during battle), but it is not enough to dismiss the game's advantages over Black.
The game looked substantially better thanks to the larger and more detailed textures. More save points and shops were added. You could shoot arrows in midair, and fight and run on water surfaces automatically. Dragon's Claw and Tiger's Fang were the only new weapons in the game, but they were also the strongest and most fun to use.
Rachel wasn't fast and easy to use as Ryu, but I found her to be a fun alternative. Her missions were brief and spread out so it wasn't too distracting.
It was just an awesome game.
