To all the X-Files voters:

Since I got the box set about 3 weeks ago, I have been watching the entire series in order.  Right now I am up to the middle of season 5, and things are getting, well, really bad.  Season 4 was much worse than I remember it being, too.  The mythology episodes were still pretty good (aside from Tempus Fugit/Max) but there are only 2 good standalone eps in the entire season (home and unruhe).

So keep that in mind when you are voting for X.

Lemme just watch the next episode of Deadwwood first.  I think this is the one where Al turgidly curses and there are whores everywhere and then someone gets shot and fed to Mr. Wu's pigs.

Though Tenebre is a fun, rather generic Argento I'd say start on Six Feek Under. It's an exceptionally good dark comedy/drama with a great cast of characters and ton of stand out episodes. Well worth wading through the five seasons as it gets darker and darker as each season progresses.

Have you seen Deep Red yet? That's probably my favorite of Argento's giallos.

Gotta be Deadwood. I could listen to Ian McShane swear all day. Really wish they'd cough up the 2 hour movie that was supposed to tie up everything.

And yeah, by the time season five of Six Feet Under rolled around, I was praying for it to end. Not because it was bad, but it became almost draining to watch.

That's about when I bailed out. I think it was the middle of season 4 or 5, right after Jose Chung's From Outer Space. I sort of came back late in season 8 or so since I knew it was wrapping up. I don't think there's anything that could match season two though.
