I love games that are really not too much more than spreadsheets with lots of fancy interface elements attached to them to both present calculated outputs and abstract the actual manner that inputs are run through formulae. Why can't MS let the Excel team make a video game? They'd rock at it.

Heh, not surprised this guy ain't an RPG fan... Most anti-RPG people tend to be from PAL regions I've noticed. Maybe it's b/c they're still bitter from getting fucked over by Square back in the SNES days?
