Suikoden V dub kinda blows away MOST of Square's stuff.

Its really kinda crazy how fluid the voice work is; its all very high quality. VP2 had really great voice work too. Most of the FF games have VA talents that go from horrible to awesome.

Well that's good to know as IV's dub was really goofy and the cinematics were a bit of a letdown after III's. How's the game itself though?

I like it better than III or IV so far, only 6 hours in tho. Its typical Suikoden fare, but the story is paced really well and nothing has been annoying yet. Its also a beautiful game, not so much on a technical level but in terms of art. FF12's dub was better than 10's which isnt hard. I think VP2's dub > FF12's dub

I think FFXII is pretty average, but the localization is pretty damn good. I think it's the script that does it for me.

Its amazing how many JRPGs must feel flat due to bad dubbing. Suikoden V is one game that was very powerful just due to the voice acting. The more dramatic scenes were not overly done (when it came to the voice acting), theres one scene in particular that sticks with me due to the very good VA.

As far as FFXII goes, the VA was good but I only found Basch, Balthier and Fran to be interesting characters Unfortunately it felt feel like the three of them didn't get enough screen time.
