There is, or at least there should be, a pretty damn big difference between being happy to get something that you actually desire, and act like a cheerleader and pretend that there was nothing ever amiss. If Microsoft comes out with a 360 that is, to a realistic extent, free of RROD issues, I'll be happy as hell. That doesn't mean I'd "forgive and forget" the systems that have RROD on me, or the attitude towards the issue that MS upheld for so long. But I'd be happy, visibly so, because I'd be getting something that I've desired for a long time. And if I immediately start bitching about how it was too long in the making, then I'd expect people to call me on it.
On the topic though, at this point I'm wondering exactly how they are going to "sell" people on Home.
