There is only one that is required viewing in my opinion. Plenty of other good ones but this film, which was shot in the late 80's early 90's captures inner city life better than any movie to date. You do not have to enjoy basketball to appreciate this film. It is the type of plot you would expect from Hollywood, when in reality a couple guys making a documentary just got lucky. One of the best and surprising endings in a movie and what adds to it is that this is real life.
You may love or hate Roger Ebert but the guy pretty much nailed my thoughts and this is one of his top 100 films and in his words, "the best movie from the 90's."


After watching it do some research on what has transpired since the film was made. Many things have happened since it has released, some that you saw coming and others that you did not.
