Looks ok but the design doesn't seem like it has changed much from the past 6 games. 95% of that trailer takes place in rooms. At least there appears to be bits of platforming and a better variety of room desgin. I'll be picking this up day one regardless but this series is in need of someone capable of thinking outside the box (or the castle if you will).

Actually... a darkstalkers/castlevania crossover would super-mega rule. I'm pro this idea. Someone at Konami talk to someone at Capcom and make it happen! Capcom are character whores! Actual platforming elements! The Metroidvanias are now truly evolving! I think I also spotted a village in one of those shots, but it's probably just the hubworld.

Yeah. It doesn't fit CV universe.

While I agree that the design is an obvious ripoff it does fit in more than the Saturday morning cartoons that plagued the last two games.

That is because it was a remake of a Rondo from years ago. They weren't trying to upgrade the gameplay.
