The way to watch Doctor Who is to either download it or buy DVDs.  The SciFi Channel shows horribly edited versions of episodes about a month after they air in the UK, but the edits are usually really bad.  As in they cut out entire scenes that are important to the story.

Where is the new trailer?

I thought Who episodes were short enough for them to show it uncut in the USA (like 42-44 minutes)....

All the episodes for this season have been over 45 minutes so far, hence requiring edits.

What about the BBC America versions?

I dunno what BBC America does with commercials.  I know they have no qualms about editing things, though.

What!? Seriously!? I've been watching the SciFi version since they revived the show.  :'(

I dunno if anyone uploads the edits.  I always DL the new eps immediately after they air in the UK.  Usually Saturday at noon they are online.

I watched the first season of the Peep Show, and found that "pain" or "painful" is a good way to describe watching it, but not necessarily in a bad way.

I don't want to enter the S4 thread but: how was that season? The first season has been very good; there have been some disappointing episodes but nothing major. How's the quality of everything else?

also any word on when S5 premiers? I'd imagine next year or so, in which case I should be caught up by then

I can vouch for this.  My gf finds Sawyer to be the hottest dude on Lost by a mile.

Season 5 will be early next year.  They are debuting it in like January so they can run the whole season through with no breaks.

And as long as you are watching the show on DVD, it's all good.  You will hear people say 2 and 3 start off slow, but when you are watching on DVD you don't really notice.  It only felt slow at the time when there was a week or more between episodes.  The actual quality of the show has remained strong throughout, very strong.
