My comment was not for the people who dont' care about MGS. I have not played them all myself but enough to want to add MGS4 to my library and experience the finale. I just can't take the people who make it a point to drag down a game they had no interest in anyways. It is so counter productive.
I agree, and as someone who is entirely unbiased and certainly quite polite in his rare criticism of games and their developers, it becomes hard to stomach this attitude.
Seriously though, I think it hits a point where it becomes downright destructive; when people seem honestly happy when a game fails to be good, or when they wish for something to suck because it's a "weapon" for the opposing camp, that seems a bit weird.
But then we're talking all serious like about, well, people talking about video games. We're pretty
damned lame right now, and I'm going to go smoke some weed and listen to Cro-Magnon.
I might even say that owning both makes it even easier to troll than just owning 360.
This is certainly true. Nothing like shitting on a game, and know what you're talking about. Catches them little buggers off-guard.
