So, pretty straightforward, here. I'm buying myself a Macbook in the next week or so and I can't decide which colour to get. Price isn't a deciding factor. I've just been having a hard time choosing and thought I'd ask what everyone else thinks.

The black ones look slicker, but you're paying like an extra 200 beans for a color. Just go with white.

I voted for the white one, just because that's what I would do because of funds. But if it really doesn't matter to you, then go with the black one- it's swank.

But I was actually being serious, the white one performed better in tests.

MacBooks got updated like last week.

I kinda want to get a MBP and a MB cause the MB seems like it would be better to actually sit on my lap.

Yeah, the Macbooks got upgraded to Core 2 Duos. Also, now the price difference between the black one and a white one with the same specs is only $50 more for the black.

Really? Ok, if that's the case then go for the black. It used to be like a $200 difference or something absurd like that.

Also, Bacon, now that that app is out that controls fan speed, the MBPs aren't as hot as grills anymore.

Yeah, I heard about that. It looks like the vents are bigger now too. I'll probably place an order in December.

What's your major concern with the color? Smudging or dirt/dust collection? I got a white MB, the only problem I have is I have to work to keep it lint-free and pretty.
