I'm tuned into this Croatia-Turkey matchup. I think soccer is ridiculously boring, and wouldn't sit through an entire game really - but the end of these 0-0 games are intense in overtime periods. Ending these things on penalty kicks seems a little ridiculous IMO ... did it always used to be like this?

I like the nation versus nation stuff though, you rarely have this in other sports.

This game was rather boring up until the overtime. It's not a great example of exciting football.

Olympic is -21 years old (otherwise it'd be the world cup, which is the second biggest world event, after the olympics)
