Teeth (the film) - Not too shabby

I just watched Teeth, possibly the first indie horror film I've enjoyed in a long while. It is definitely a dark comedy in places, and the director paid some serious attention to detail in the mise en scene, placing all of the vagina, teeth, and dick references everywhere.

Also, brandonh83 pointed this out: there is a scene where we see one of the unfortunate males in the locker room, and all of the males are bare-ass naked, dicks hanging out and everything. We then see through the divider into the women's room on the other side, and the girls are covered up. Definitely more male nudity in this film than female, which is very unique for a horror film, and definitely fits into the female empowerment theme of the film.

The lead actress (Jess Weixler) does a decent acting job while everyone else acts in that horrid B-movie indie horror style, but it actually contributes pretty well to the rest of the film.

Definitely worth a watch.

I saw this last week and wanted to make a thread dealing my thoughts on the film. Unfortunately I couldn't find enough screaming and crying pictures of people in agonizing pain to express my feelings, so I opted not to. By the end of the film Little Jimmy had crawled so far up inside of me that I had developed a man-vag. It's an intentionally uncomfortable film in almost every aspect (not just the penis chomping). There's a good amount of fun to be had with the film though as it provides just the right amount of light hearted cheesiness with pitch black comedy.
