I get the feeling we're gonna get REAMED on the price. :'( 50,000 would be nice, 40,000 AWESOME, but I bet it's going to sell for like 60,000-70,000 yen.
My wife works for DoCoMo and just got the new Sharp model phone with a touch screen. It's a joke compared to the iPhone (I am comparing it with my iTouch), and that phone is something like 60,000 yen. She got it for free, but I still had to laugh at it all high n' mighty nerd-like. Anyway, she thinks that they'll end up selling the iPhone for 70,000-100,000 yen initially, but that seems way, WAY too high. There's a Prada-branded phone that just came out from DoCoMo for 100,000 yen though, and she says it's SELLING, so who the fuck knows.
It's going to be 3G here for sure, so if they come out with a 16gb model for a decent price, I'm going to get one. Maybe sell my iPod Touch to help with the price...
