I picked up instant coffee this week because while I'm one of those nerds who roasts his own beans and makes frequent reference to "terroir", I'm also lazy and I like the weird burnt caramel flavor of instant. But everytime I have a cup it's like I'm getting unbelivably high. For a solid 3 hours afterwards I'm just way out there, super-focused. I don't usually get any kick from caffeine, but instant is like rocket fuel. It's like taking Adderral.
