I don't think it really matters.  Let's face it, the game is designed for fans.  While it may be a big release, Kojima clearly didn't go out of his way to make the series friendlier to non-fans.  I think everyone waiting for it will be extremely happy (myself included) while those who had issues with the previous games probably won't much care for it.

MGS3 scored an 8.7 on Gamespot which fans certainly didn't agree with.  It will probably receive either an 8.5 or a 9.0.

both of them are sfags, Borys was a die-hard sfag with a Playstation 2, but now he couldn't invest in the PS3, as the PC has more cheaper games, with a reason to justify that "OMG I HAZ MORE REZOLUTION 1920X1200 120FPS OMG OMG I ARE SUPERUURRRR". while the other one, tries to be unbiased (i.e blind sfag) but he couldn't, he tries to "QUESTION EVERYTHING" but, unfortunately, he doesn't question the triple or its exclusive games.

I like the system, but unless it's a Sucker Punch and Insomniac games player (and, well, Wipeout), it can pretty much kiss my ass. I'm the most reluctant Sonytard you will find, christened in RROD.
