eh. the first movie had its moments but it was very disappointing. the EE is better though, but not by much. very disappointing

Apparently the movie hasn't done too well - probably because of the summer release instead of waiting for Thanksgiving. I wonder if they'll make The Silver Chair  :heartbeat :heartbeat :heartbeat

It probably did better overseas than it did here a la The Golden Compass.  I liked the first quite a bit and this one was a lot better since it didn't have to do any stupid backstory.

Saw it too and thought it was ok. They barely gave any of the kids room to breath before they were thrust into Narnia again. So in some ways it felt kinda shallow to me compared to the first film. I'm surprised by how much more violent this film was compared to Indiana Jones and still retained a PG rating.

there was a beheading, so awesome

and i'm glad they were quickly thrust back into narnia.  i was dreading an hour of them in london whining about how they wanted to go back, instead it was only 5 minutes.  awesome stuff.  it had a pretty great opening too.

Saw it on Saturday, very mixed feelings.

I definitely felt the first was superior.  This one had its moments, but was very uneven.  Water Jesus made me go WTF.

It was okay, but I thought the first movie was better. Prince Caspian just kind of felt like a retread in some ways, hopefully Voyage of the Dawn Treader gets things back on track.

i watched the first again the night before i saw prince caspian.  it was still awesome but I think it was way more uneven.
