Sci-Fi adventure game. It's kind of a poor man's point-and-click Mass Effect which is cool, but the problem is that it's based on some German space opera serial called Perry Rhodan that's been running in magazines since the 60's, and there's 40 years of baggage in the story. I imagine it's like playing a Superman game if you'd never heard of Superman and you don't know who Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, or Lex Luthor are. As best as I've been able to piece together, you're Perry Rhodan, who was the first man on the moon in 1971 (the series started in 1961) and you met aliens who had crashed on the moon and you helped them out and in exchange they gave you sweet alien tech, and now it's like 5000 years in the future and you have this cellular regenerator that allows you to live forever, along with several of your friends, and because you're so old, you're all respected leaders of Terra (I dunno what happened to Earth, it's probably gone now). Anyway, your apartment gets attacked by robots who appeared to have been built by this alien race that was hostile to Terra in the past but they aren't now, so you blame them, but they say they didn't do it, and also your ex-wife who was also one of the 5000 year old people gets kidnapped, and in your search for her, you begin to unravel some conspiracy which somehow involves this metal fragment you found that is made out of an alloy of matter and antimatter.
I've put about four hours into it, it's
okay so far. The beginning is extremely disorienting, but after an hour or so, things start to make a little sense. Hopefully it picks up now.
