I know this is prolly real old news, but I just heard it in the latest 1Up Yours and I can't stop laughing.

Summation: the MGS4 LE PS3 is the 40 gb version - the 40 gb versions aren't backwards compatible - so no MGS2&3.

Who the fuck overlooked that little tidbit? Jeezus.

Year of PS3 continues...

It is. It's the same as the Xbox 360 in that it uses software/emulation to play the games instead of hardware like the 60GB does.
