Large library collectors - ever try Disksox?
« on: June 12, 2008, 04:33:34 PM »
I am sick of trying to shop for massive cabinets and cases to store it all....im also sick of moving it all...

Anyone ever try these?;

http://www.mmdesign.com/

They have really nice looking sleeves for CD based games that wil hold the game case card, book and 2 disks.

They have great looking sleeves for DVD based games that hold all of the artwork and books along with 2 game disks

They also have the sleeves designed for BluRay movies and PS3 games.

Im really considering giving these things an eval by buying enough for my PSOne collection - get them out of the bulky plastic cases, etc...

If I could get my entire optical game disk collection into these things I could fit it all in one of those DJ style carry cases.

Right now my optical disk game collection takes up 3 locking cabinets, and I am currently out of room and stashing games anywhere I have extra space....

What have you tuned to as a large volume storage solution?

I don't have that many discs, I'm just pretty anal about sorting

i remember before I ripped al of my CD's I liked the move from cabinets full of jewel cases to books full of disks....it felt like i had al new disks...

I think I would need to go with disk-sox over books tho as keeping all of the original GFX/liners and books are important to me.

I just keep putting up more shelves.  The pretty boxes are the main reason I buy games and DVDs.
