It looks like half Sonic Rush and half Secret Rings, which means half awesome, half shit, and 0 what Sonic used to be. Which might work out to be fun anyway without waggle.

SA2 actually had real soap shoes in it. They even had billboards for them ingame.

yeah I dunno, Sonic 2 was awesome when I was a kid and still holds up really well now imo

I never had a Genesis back in the day, but I really like Sonic 1 on the Virtual Console. As opposed the other 6 or 7 VC titles I've downloaded and spent all of five minutes on.

Sonic 2 and Sonic & Knuckles were great, Sonic 1 and Sonic 3 were pretty good too but really hard. Sonic CD was okay, but kind of confusing with the level design and time travel aspect.
