The reported ending of the film is now online!  Some Batman-like detective work shows that the news crawl talks about events that may take place before the end of the film, so who knows!

The crawl mentions "investigating the Joker's threat to bridges and tunnels."

I'm willing to bet Twoface comes into play alot sooner then we all think.

Which I'm still bothered by the fact that the Joker fucks him up in the movie right? If so, why doesn't he attack the joker instead of being a villain?

who said that? not in the comics

You've seen the ending?

And it's been pretty well known that the Joker is responsible for Harvey's turn for awhile.

where was it reported that's the ending

there's no way that's the ending because we've already seen a pic of Two-Face in a car. that scene in the bar looks more like an introduction to Two-Face

Because this same, exact footage was shown at Wizard World Con awhile back, with attendees saying that it was from the end of the film and Nolan hinting on further adventures for Batman as he did with the Joker card.

Who is to say that the car scene takes places BEFORE this one?  I think it's a bit ridiculous to say whether or not this is definitively the ending of the film.  I am leaning towards no, but I'm certainly not sure - nobody is.

i just can't see the car scene taking place before this scene. i mean, this scene is a classic introduction scene. it would make no sense to introduce two-face before this scene. but you're right. nobody knows for sure.

thats why you should change the thread title to include what you wrote in the op: "reported ending".

Okay spoilers. Not for the movie but for Batman as a whole

spoiler (click to show/hide)
Harvey Dent thought Batman could've saved him from Joker doing this and from Joker killing Rachel.

i read an interview with Eckhart where he states that Two-Face isn't really a villain so much as an over-the-top vigilante.  He kills other criminals, for the most part.

Hope that this isn't the ending, but a cool bit of footage nonetheless.
