I like the trailer, it's good.

Check the marketplace trailer, it's 2x as big as the gametrailers one because that one is compressed to dogshit.

Looks good, graphically. But I really don't know if I can go back to the weapons of that era after enjoying the SMGs, ARs and sweeter explosive devices of modern times.

There have been a lot of knee-jerk negative reactions to this simply because it's not from IW, but yeah, it looks real good. Whatever shortcomings it has, it shares with COD4, so it's all good.

Agreed, the "bobobo it's Treyarch so it's gonna suck!!!" stuff is getting old.  This looks absolutely fantastic.  It's using an updated version of the COD4 engine and also COD4's multi-player system, perks 'n all, so I seriously doubt it's gonna disappoint.

A new COD game isn't necessary right now. COD4 is still the most played game on Live.

Exactly. That's only a year after COD4 came out.

I dunno.. a year's a long time with videogames.  I'm cool with a new COD every year as long as the quality holds up.  It certainly looks that way with COD5... trailer's insane

I sort of liked CoD3, even if it was the game that killed my launch 360.  That trailer looked good.  My complaint about the CoD games are that I just don't think the drop in IQ is worth 60 fps.  For me, Resistance proved that if you LOCK a game a 30 fps, that's smooth enough.  Bump up the textures and resolution for the consoles.  If running at 60fps is that important, buy it on PC.

Co-op would be the only reason I'd look at this.

In a game with as much action as CoD, 60 fps makes a gigantic difference.  The only not-so-good parts of CoD's graphics are the textures though.

I still love how they dropped the numbering for this one

That actually makes some sense; taking the brand off into subtitle-land to broaden it.

The trailer was good, but still, WW2 = fail, the series was supposed to move forwards after CoD4, not backwards.

I still love how they dropped the numbering for this one

IW wants the number 5 on their true sequel. Don't be too shocked if World at War doesn't become the title for a series of WW2 games.

Hopefully IW makes a CoD with laser guns, aliens and dinosaurs. That would be awesome

That's good, CoD3 was a mistake that should've never happened. The numbering should stick with the IW developed CoD games.
