I really liked Syberia, for the atmosphere and detailed enviroments mostly. YMMV, but for only $10 it worth trying out.

It was shipped from some weird CD BONANZA ULTRA store in NY too lol. I really dont know why they dont throw this shit on steam. adventure games age so well

And AGs are one genre that could probably benefit from digital distribution the most, being extremely niche and all. So far only a handful have popped up on Steam though, which I bought because I wanted to support the idea.
