Sorry, I've just never been one of those people that downloads albums and movies all the time without buying them.

That tone is mighty accusatory!  Especially for someone asking for help   But yeah, I'd suggest you hit wikipedia or google 'bittorrent tutorial' if it's out there in bt format.  I'd check to make sure it's out there first before going through all that effort
