Blast Worx is pretty underwhelming.

I mean i see where there is some potential to make some cool stuff with it but;

- the core game engine isnt that great
- the included developer made content isnt that great so it doesn't compel me to want to make my own shooter stages/campaigns...which would be needed for me to....
- the design environment seems tedious, since the developer content hasnt wowed me, why bother learning it?
- the game engines "blast enemies and then as they flip thru the air collect them with your ship ala Katamari Damacy" mechanic is pretty queer.

+ The existing 3D backgrounds and multistage enemies and bosses do show that the design tool has some potential to make some great enemy ship designs etc...the problem is that in execution, the stages will all feel like Aegis Wing when you play them :(

I dunno - im pretty sure im going to exile this title from my collection.

Regretted purchase of the month for sure.

I will make sure to try it again in a different mood - and actually try to make a stage or 2....I tried making some enemy craft but the design tool was pretty annoying considering there is no need for the game to use 3D rotating shapes for a 2D shooter that doesnt have much feeling of depth in the stage progression at all....
