Well, if money was no object I'd:

• Buy a private island in the Caribbean large enough for a pier, an airstrip, housing and sustainable energy, water and food (I'm going to need to hire a lot of help). Of course I'd also have a megayacht, a couple of speedboats and a jet or two - you know, to get people to and from the island and have some wicked parties. And travel. Sure, why not?
  
  The island would have to be large enough to accommodate an F1-spec racetrack with a modular design so that you can section off and open up parts of the track to make new tracks. It'd have to have a buncha exotic supercars so that the buddies can race around.

• I'd also have a plot of land in the mountains in South America, along the Andes (landing strip required). High enough to avoid the inevitable effects of global warming and perhaps the odd meteor strike or supervolcano eruption. Of course I'd have a nice pad to live in but also a self-sustainable bunker that would be the envy of Saddam or Dubya. That way I'd ride out the aftermath with relative ease. Buddies would be welcome since it'll be mall-sized.
  
  South America is cheap for most everything and has enough technology infrastructure to keep me happy. Plus, like someone already said about the women...

• Buy out Nintendo, Sony and Microsoft (I dunno about Intel, Nvidia and AMD but if need be so be it) so those bastards make the OS, games and systems that I want to play. We'd all be playing with Holodeck-like immersiveness within five years. Then I wouldn't give a rat's ass where I retired.
