I believe you can, but it's worthless since there are no official servers and hacking is rampant.

Wolves are worthless until the second half of Epic. Pump all of your skill points into Heart of Oak in nature. A terrific passive skill.

I've got my Rogue up to level 30, and I'm slicing guys up like butter. I've completely sacrificed defense in order to boost my DPS as high as possible.

Choose the Warfare Class, put points into Dual Wield (when its available) and hold on off putting skill into Onslaught until you know what secondary class you want. Reason being, I ended up going with Dreamweaver as my secondary class and Psionic Touch took the place of Onslaught.

Also, when you reach the Queen Spider (You'll know when), if you want, you can grind that run by activating the rebirth shrine at the base, kill her, get the loot, save, exit out of the game and repeat. You get some KICKASS loot from the Majestic Chest up there. I got 1 of my better weapons and two Blue pieces of Armor from it (both 70+ armor when I was rocking 35 Armor before).

I was browsing a TQ forum and saw people talking about fighting the Hydra. I never knew it existed (in Legendary) and must have walked past it's swamp half a dozen times.

So, I went and fought that fucker and landed some sweet gear on my first two go rounds.

Armor of Achilles

492 Armor

+41% Damage
+58 Strength
+450 Health
+26% Health Regeneration
+168 Offensive Ability
+1 to All Skills in Warfare Mastery

Grants Skill: Adrenaline

Required Level: 41
Required Strength: 525

My DPS is up to 3750 now!

I ran the beast about 5 more times and landed another purple (Battlemage Armor) and few purple rings/amulets (worthless at my level).

Time to make another run and complete Legendary tonight. Hope this massive increase in DPS can put me over the hump.

God, I just want to play this game 24 hours a day. also, it's fucking gorgeous.

but I'm getting sick of the tiny freezes and rubber banding. is there any special optimization that can be done? On paper, my PC should eat this game alive, especially at 1024x768 (or whatever the highest 4:3 res is.) I have an 8800gts512, Core2Duo 2.66ghz (E6750), and 2gb of ram. I have the unofficial patch installed.

i run into the same exact problem (the stuttering) and my machine should eat this one alive too. I installed the fan patch but still have issues. it's kind of painful when it kicks in in the middle of a fight

i hit lvl 18 and i'm fairly well geared out.

I beat Olympus just now on Normal. I smoked the last boss with my Lv. 31 Rogue. My DPS is about 875, about half of it poison damage. I only had to hit him maybe 8 times and just let the poison do the rest.

I just love the explosion that happens after you build up Psionic Touch

But yeah, with the Dream class, I can run into camps and hew all the monsters with my Dual Wielding Psionic Touch. But its getting harder to do this (I'm in the 3rd act right now)

My next character I want to do Rogue/?? I have a third character that is Spirit/Storm .. but he's kind of boring.

A Rogue/Hunter w/ a spear could be an uber-pierce/bleeding build. Not many great spears though.

so I enjoy this game but shit annoys me

- walking by holding down the mouse button
- not being able to reassign my attack button
- too much loot, not enough bagspace

- not suited for short playtimes

it speaks volumes for how awesome it is when I can sit down and lose hours at a time playing it but ffs some simple changes would have ruled.

I'm almost finished Act 2, it's so much better and more interesting than Act 1.

I ended up having to respec because I had too many passive abilities maxed and nothing like Phantom Strike. Now I have 9/8 onslaught + phantom strike & trance of empathy. it's awesome

He's pretty easy if you build up your poison damage.

Just hit him, then run away while the poison does it's work. Repeat.

I was playing last night and had 2 green drops and 1 blue that were ok, then went to my bag and couldn't find it. I got so angry but kept playing. Then I ported back to Memphis and saw the 2nd flashing back icon and found my items

loul im reading on the TQ forums about Spellbinders Cuffs and how many runs it takes to get them. Turns out I got a pair on my 1st run through in Normal.

Dang it, I was only going to play this game once through. When I finished Normal though, I started thinking "Man, I wonder what kind of sweet loot I could get on Epic. I'll just play it a little bit and see if I get anything good." Once I got that first purple though, I couldn't stop. Now I'm starting Act 3. I've got 50 hours on my main character exactly (2:02:00) and I've got at least another dozen hours on a second character. The l00t is sucking me in. :'(

Yeah it's getting like that for me too. Now I've got my phantom strike working well with my 2 damage-> health weapons I'm plowing through massive mobs. Once I put down a battle standard the bosses aren't giving me any issues either.

I'm thinking of adding war wind so I don't have to worry about the Phantom Strike cooldown and I can continually use AOE to take out groups.

Does this fan patch break save files?

I have about 30 hours built into my warfare/storm character and don't want to have to start over.

Also, what are some tips for building this character up. I built up my bases stats first, and have started to branch out.

Man I wish I had known about boss spamming near a rebirth fountatain. I would have done that!

Ok I have reached the titan in act 4 and it is beating the shit out of me. How do I defeat this thing? The life leech taking my health and giving it back to the titan is destroying me.

I have warfare and storm. What should I assign my bonuses too? I have my wisp at 16 I tried to cheese it this way but it doesn't work. Whatever life gets taken off it gets back from me.

why don't you use a bow with poison, w button for switching weapons is yer friend, just kite him near the stairway

Yeah I'm distinguished mentally-challenged I can't believe I went the whole game without seeing them.

Anyway now that Titan Quest is done it is on to Immortal Throne. Is it a good idea to roll over the existing TQ character or start a new one?

I made sure to install the fan patch for IT before starting the game. IT title screen music is pretty badass too.

He's an optional boss, but still I would kinda like to beat him. His poison and frost attacks I can survive, but his wind attack just totally destroys me though.

Never found that dude, he seems nasty.

I finished act IV, no poision but I would just run in and phantom strike him, attach till the boulders started coming and run away. Then at the end I used some lightning scroll which took off 1/4 of his health really quickly. Got some shitty drops though

No onto the long Act V

The Dragon Liche is only in Epic/Legendary difficulty. He's near the cave in China where the general left his armor and weapons. There's kind of a back exit to the cave, and you when you go out there you find the Dragon Liche.

Legendary is -100% to resistances. Epic is only -40%.

And I finally beat the Dragon Liche. All I got from him was a bunch of yellow crap and 30k XP, but it was worth it to keep my pride intact.
