Xbox 360 owners get to rock first; PS3 version coming later in the year.

Rock Band 2 is such a big mistake. Rock Band 1 had everything you needed, especially with the DLC. Well, hopefully the new drums turn out better than the new guitar...which isn't new at all.

I'll buy disc-only versions of RBII and GHWT, though. I already own two guitars, a mic, and a set of drums I never use. I can use my GHII guitar and RB mic for GHWT. I might (might) pick up the new GH guitar, depending on the reaction to it (my GHII guitar is getting a little worn out).

The one thing I would want is the GH4 guitar. It looks really nice. Problem is that it won't work with Rock Band.

Wait- Why is everyone angry? This is good news. More songs, new content! It'll be cheaper than DLC and the DLC will continue to work. BC on existing peripherals and upgrades for new ones. What's the problem?

I feel the same way. DLC is proactive for once. I'll be buying the disc game for RB2, since I bought the bundle for the first one.

That it's coming out for the 360 first. I would buy it for the Xbox, but I already have $50 worth of DLC on the PS3 and I want to play it all on RB2.
