Gotham Knight has been leaked, who watched it

I did yesterday and wasn't that impressed. The short story format is all right if the stories themselves are strong, but unfortunately only Deadshot and to a lesser extent Working Through Pain were worth it. The stories each have their own Bruce Wayne design and some fit better than others. For instance it's weird to hear Kevin Conroy's Bruce when you're looking at a typical anime character. The first story had a good angle in showing how different kids saw Batman and changing the design based on that, but the actual story fell flat. Some style, no substance is basically a good way to summarize this collection

I watched and enjoyed it, still picking it up on blu ray.

The total package isn't that great.  If you go into it expecting more Batman TAS or anything like that, you will be let down.  If you go in expecting normal anime stuff, you will be let down.  If you go in expecting Batman interpreted in various ways in anime, you can enjoy it.  I would say there is one great one (working through pain), two pretty good ones, two decent ones, and one crappy one.

My friend watched it, he said it was a bunch of 12 min. shorts and not all that impressive.  Let down total.
