I like how Atlus in US gets a name for publishing all these games made by random companies.
It would be like me saying "New wave of games from Capcom: GTA, God of War, etc."
Atlus is the publisher, so they're coming from Atlus to the market.

Atlus fails until they get Super Robot Wars OG released in North America. FAILS.

I finished the game couple of days ago. If you played SRW games before you won't have problems with this one (even though it's not a SRPG). Though I'm lost within the story >:(

Yeah. SRW games should get localized. Can't afford to import all the shit. I have yet to play SRW A on PSP.

I've got and played through all the licensed SRW PS2 titles, so buying them isn't a problem, but I'm holding out in the hopes that OG will see an English localization seeing how it's not screwed by containing licensed mecha.

I think I saw a video for this on youtube(.jp) and it was like a bunch of super attacks in a row by mecha show stars

look like it was mixed 3d/2d

was this the same game?

If it had mecha that you recognized, it's the mainline SRW games, and there's no way we'll ever see those in North America due to licensing issues. Original Generation contain original creations, and the GBA versions were actually released here by Atlus, so there's a slight chance we could get the PS2 versions here.

I am too. My problem should be with Banpresto/Bandai, who is the company behind SRW and more than likely not letting the PS2 OG games get localized and released here.

I should probably just order the Japanese versions of OG and OG Gaiden and call it a day... but with my luck, someone would announce them for NA release. I guess I'll wait until E3 and if I don't hear anything, I'll get them.
