I have a free rental token at BB due to some dude's shitty 360 scratching up the Halo 3 disc I had rented, so I was thinking about renting this instead. I played in the beta, in the odd moments that it didn't freeze, but I never gave the retail version a fair hearing. Anyone still into Warhawk?

If a bunch of people are gonna get together and play, I'll be in. I play it every once in a while. I was planning too earlier today, but I started up Resistance single player for some reason instead. I wish this game had online co-op.

I borrowed one. I had a craving for Crackdown.

Anyway, this all became largely theoretical, as the god damned video store doesn't actually have the game.

In the patch at the end of the the month, they will be including tutorial missions for people to learn how to play the game. I'm sure that can help some of you.

There is also trophy and custom soundtrack support.

Trophy whoring is a bit crazy now. I signed onto PSN yesterday to just download the Uncharted patch (not replaying it yet), and there were like 8 or more people playing Uncharted there. This morning I checked and people were still playing. A certain gaf posters who...uhh, show 'affection' towards this game already has 33/45 trophies. Crazy.

I have one trophy that I got from Eden. I am satisfied.

I am going to start playing it again, but I have been meaning to anyway. I can't resistant playing Danger Zone while flying around.

And the new Burnout Paradise patch that includes Motorcycles and Night time racing sounds amazing.

Always thought they were kind of a waste and still due. Maybe I am wrong for saying it is a waste when I am fully aware it is just my disinterest in the video game equivalent of comparing dick sizes, but yeah, I still think it is a waste...unless they unlock something or turn out to be creative in some way. Bioshock achievements made me laugh at times, so they were cool. Things like "complete this level" or "shoot guys in head" suck. Things that make you go out of your way to get them are awesome. Crackdown also had great ones.

Resistance is also still really populated, but for some reason everyone just plays the 1 shot/1 kill mode. I'm not even joking. Sign on right now and you will see that 90% of the games are 1 shot/1 kill.

Also, yeah, I like in-game achievement points that reward you with stuff. I remember with Uncharted I actually would try and get points so I could unlock other costumes or filters.

Actually, jetpack revelation aside, bitching about the difficulty involved in collecting trophies seems more than mildly distinguished mentally-challenged. Those things actually sound like genuine achievements.

i don't take online games seriously enough to be bothered. people can do whatever. i just worry about what i'm doing (and i will be going for the trophies

). it's not like there's a teamkill trophy.

Austrian website eLhabib.at have some Information about the new Warhawk Boosterpack.

The Keyfacts are:
The Name of the Boosterpack is: Warhawk: Operation Fallen Star.
It´s possible to use Jetpacks and you can also fire while you are in the air.
The name of the Jetpack is: Icarus Mk. I

The release for the new Boosterpack is expected in August.
More Information on the new Boosterpack should be available soon.
