Anyone else cough up pieces when they wake up?
« on: July 02, 2008, 01:20:38 PM »
Fucking sucks. I wake up and a lot of times I'll have these pieces on the back of my tongue/throat, way in the back and I can't cough them up. I just coughed up like three big pieces. By big, its only like half or a third of a centimeter a piece - but when you have them on the back on your tongue you definitely know. Supposedly its pieces of throat lining, but I have no clue. Anyone else get this stuff?

Yellowish, stinky?

That's food that has been trapped in your throat for a while.

Holy shit, thats it. Man those pictures are nasty, I thought what I coughed up was big, but those pictures are like 10 times as big. I bet it feels like coughing up a baseball with that stuff.

I need to gargle salt watersodium bicarbonate mouthwash. No alcohol in it. I wonder if Crest Pro Health is this type.

I used to have these, seemed to become a lot more prevalent after heavy smoking. Gargling this "Prevention" stuff has seemed to help.

I used to get a lot of sores in my mouth, combination of several types of tobacco and intense stress, and this shit helped. The positive side effect seems to be less mystery pieces of white poop in my mouth.

I never thought about it, but that wiki link says sometimes you can reach them with your tongue.  It claims this is the best method as the tongue doesn't stimulate the gag reflex.

I have learned my new thing for the day, pretty fascinating actually.

Alternately, does that include someone else's tongue not causing a gag reflex?

Mupepe, report your results.

I dunno, you feel like gagging?

The point was the tongue didn't cause a gag reflex.  I'm just curious if someone else's tongue causes one.

I know a penis can, I've seen vids  :-*

I recognise those - mine were tiny compared to those behemoths.

I'm not sure what has changed in regards to what I'm putting in my mouth but I haven't had them for years.
