Infamous screens

I hope other areas of the city has more personality, but I guess I'll assume they do. I really want to see this one in motion though. Sucker Punch is so awesome at character motion.

Don't really like how it is all brown.  It seems like it is stuck in GTA4 dusk setting.

Looks like a typical 360 game, which means it's pretty good.

The streets in the second picture.  Stuff like that.  It isn't that bad.

I really want to see this game in motion.  I hope the character is hopping all over the place like in Prototype.  I would rather it be a faster style of Ass. Creed climbing.

I hope they do some cool stuff with the physics.  Killzone 2 is the only game where we've seen a hint of the PS3's supposed superiority in calculating physics.

A lot of that is scripted. Little Big Planet is much more interesting in that regard.

Looks pretty good, more interested in this than on Prototype.

I hope this isn't too much for Sucker Punch to chew since it seems like a fairly ambitious game.

He could be talking about how the canisters and things like that in Killzone 2.  Like, wherever you shoot in canister, it gets pushed depending on where you shoot, and not some random pattern.

And yeah, LBP has some cool stuff going on with physics.

Looks pretty good, more interested in this than on Prototype.

I hope this isn't too much for Sucker Punch to chew since it seems like a fairly ambitious game.

Hopefully they can pull it off without problems.  I mean, the other two big Playstation 2 platformer devs went on to make great games on the PS3, so hopefully Sucker Punch can follow the trend.

I'm plenty interested in both, but given the choice, I'm definitely more intrigued by this. References to Batman, Sucker Punch being genuinely good at weaving good stories and creating characters with personality, it's all very appealing. Prototype is another game in the Hulk UD vein, which is perfectly fine, but I don't expect it to be as interesting as Infamous.

Did anyone ever post a thread for the latest Prototype media "blow-out"? And if not, is one needed, or have people already seen the videos? Looks very cool, again in that Hulk UD sort of way.

They really aren't that similar

Infamous is blatantly a super-hero game, but gives you the choice of being a hero on a small, personal scale, or a ruthless ends-justify-the-means sort of hero. Prototype is more of a anti-hero human weapon destruction sort of deal. Both sound hot as hell.

Prototype:

I have a feeling InFamous could turn out to be stunning when it's finally done.  I just love the idea of an original super hero kind of game, and I love the main character's look and appeal.

It is made by the guys who did Sly Cooper.
