No way, everything before Achtung Baby has a really different sound than everything after.  They were all downhill after.

If I'm famous and gave someone a fucking hat and other assorted lame crap of non-sentimental value, they can keep it.  Why drag this shit out for decades?  Buy a new hat, Timothy.

Oooh, my slave name! Nice work.

Maybe it's sentimental to Bono or the Edge or whoever those other two dodes are. You sound like you'd press charges if someone shart-changed you, William.

During the appeal hearing, she claimed Bono was running around in his underwear backstage at the Sun Devil Stadium in Arizona on the last night of the tour when she asked him for the hat.

The court was told he "plonked" it on her head.

In 2002, Ms Cashman put some of the memorabilia up for sale at Christie's.

he just got pissy that she wanted to sell it...he didn't care until then.

I love U2, but that's pretty pointless. There have been worse lawsuits though (READ: lady spills McD's coffee on herself and sues because it's too hot) so I guess this one isn't totally far out there.

Me? Both. I was raised on War and the Joshua Tree, but I think All That You Can't Leave Behind is a great album.

I love U2, but that's pretty pointless. There have been worse lawsuits though (READ: lady spills McD's coffee on herself and sues because it's too hot) so I guess this one isn't totally far out there.

This was actually a totally legitimate lawsuit.  It amuses me that non-legal peoples always cite that case when they are complaining about crap litigation.

Guess what?  McDonalds had been asked numerous times (something like 20 times) to lower the temperature of their coffee.  They refused, because scalding hot coffee stays "fresh" longer, thus saving them money.

I dunno about you, but I don't expect my coffee to give me third degree burns if I spill some.  There's hot, and then there's hot.  Get a clue.

I wasn't complaining about crap litigation, I was making a point about how some people have lawuits for no reason.

Are you trained in food safety at all? There are certain temperatures that hot foods and drinks must be kept at. I can't tell you how many times my coworkers ended up in the ER from spilling coffee or hot water for tea on themselves when I was working in the dietary department of a hospital. We couldn't lower the temperatures because we'd be in voilation of safety codes.

Maybe this example of stupid lawuits would be better: when that guy sued Winnebego because he put his RV on cruise control, made himself a drink, and the thing drove off a cliff or something. The company had to change the manual or whatever to explicitly reflect that cruise control is not automatic pilot. It wasn't the company's fault that the customer was a goddamn moron, but they ended up paying him buttloads of money anyway.

So, yeah, get a clue there.

Old U2 is the best obviously but Beautiful Day which came out in 2001 is easily one of their 5 best songs they ever did I feel.
